At Original Photos, we offer professional disc polishing and repair to restore scratched discs and improve playback.

Using specialised disc repair equipment, damaged discs can often be resurfaced to remove scratches and restore readability.

Heavy scratches are first treated using our Quicksand Hydro-Optic sanding system, which removes deep surface damage and prepares the disc for repair.

The disc is then processed through our VMI Hybrid V2 repair machine, which polishes the surface and restores a smooth optical finish.

This two-stage process can often recover discs that will no longer play due to scratches.

Important note

Disc repair restores the surface layer of the disc, but it cannot repair damage to the data layer underneath.
