Over time, tapes can suffer from cracked shells, broken cassette housings, or snapped tape. In many cases these problems can be repaired so the tape can be safely played and transferred to digital.

• Rebuilding damaged VHS or VHS-C cases

Once repaired, the tape can usually be safely played and transferred to digital, preserving the footage for the future.
